Serves those age 18 through 26 who have aged out of foster care and who reside in Tuscarawas County. Those who age out of foster care will be covered through age 26 and are eligible to start coverage at any point before age 26. There are no income or asset requirements for this group. Those who aged out of foster care in other states, and who meet these guidelines are eligible for coverage as part of this group. Those who left foster care before aging out are not eligible for coverage as part of this group - but may be eligible as a different eligibility group. NOTE: Those who are waiting for disability determination by Social Security can receive their disability determination for Medicaid through the county - the shortest time for that determination would be three (3) months, but more commonly this takes 5-6 months.

- Agency goal is to provide approval or denial (original or reinstatement) within 30-45 days, but in most cases, determination may take 60-90 days. - Clients will need to re-verify yearly after age 19.
