Serves students want to have a consistent mentoring relationship with an adult volunteer mentor in grades Kindergarten to 12th in the following school districts: - Akron Public Schools. - Barberton City Schools. - Cuyahoga Falls City Schools. - Tallmadge City Schools. NOTE: Student must have a good school attendance record.
Signed permission slip from parent/guardian required.
As arranged by mentee and mentor. Meets weekly during school hours, such as during breakfast or lunch time or during an open class period.

Offers weekly one-to-one mentoring with an adult volunteer mentor during the school year at the school. Mentors work with youth mentees on building critical life skills that will help them to be successful both inside and outside of the school day.

Provides individual counseling, group counseling, and youth counseling. The primary purpose is to provide counseling services to youth and their families experiencing difficulties, especially in the public school system. Note: Part of the Youth Success Summit (formerly OSTN).
