Eligibility

Serves individuals who are a current cancer patient (currently receiving chemotherapy or radiation). Diagnosis and treatment information will be verified by agency. This program is one of last resort, all other resources for funding must be exhausted. NOTE: This service is not for cancer survivors/individuals who are no longer in treatment.

Required documents

- Completed grant application and copies of bills including account number and billing address. - Rent requests must include copy of lease.

Monday - Friday: 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Description

Provides funding to ease everyday financial burdens for individuals actively receiving treatment for cancer. Requests for funding may include utility bill payment assistance, rent payment assistance, mortgage payment assistance, transportation costs, and so forth. Funding is determined on a case-by-case basis since circumstances are different for each household.
