SUMMER LEARNING CENTER | SALVATION ARMY CENTRAL OHIO AREA
Our Summer Learning Center is a 9-week program from June through the first week of August for students who have just completed 1st through 5th grade. Our program is open from 8:45 am-3 pm Monday-Friday. In the mornings, focus on academics, social-emotional learning, and physical education to help prevent summer learning loss. In the afternoons, attend field trips, complete service projects, go swimming or to a splash park, and have fun activities. On Fridays, attend all-day field trips to various educational locations and fun trips around Columbus and the Central Ohio area. We provide breakfast, lunch, and a snack to students through various partnerships.
