Lorain Police Safety Town | Lorain City Of

Provides simulated miniature towns with scaled down roads, crosswalks, commercial storefronts, traffic signs, traffic signals, railroad crossings and school buses that young children can visit and ride tricycles/big wheels through to learn about safety. The curriculum is varied and includes such topics as fire safety, safety belts, pedestrian safety, bike safety, bus safety, stranger awareness, and playground safety.

Application process

Must complete a registration form to apply. Forms are generally available at Lorain City Schools Administration building located at 2601 Pole Avenue in Lorain and at the Lorain Police Department records window as well as online. Registration for classes on a first come, first served basis. Mail registration to: Mrs. Robin Smith, 505 Allison Avenue, Lorain, OH 44052.
