Eligibility

Serves residents of the United States with pets who also reside in the United States. Individuals seeking assistance must be either staying at or have plans to stay at a domestic violence shelter. Will not provide assistance to pay a bill where boarding has already been completed.

Application process

Application is online only. Must be completed and submitted by a worker in a domestic violence shelter. Obtain permission from the client to release information to the organization. Request an estimate from kennel/veterinarian. If fees will exceed $600 in a calendar year, kennel/vet must agree to provide an IRS form W-9 for tax purposes. Will need to provide regular updates on the situation to the organization if requested.
