Description

Accepts owner surrendered animals when space and resources are available. The shelter does not euthanize to make space so there is generally a waiting list to surrender an animal. Assists with Trap Neuter Release programs throughout Lorain County.

Friendship APL is a privately funded non-profit humane society. Finds home for homeless pets, maintains a list of lost and found pets, investigates humane complaints, prosecutes offenders, takes pets to nursing homes, and conducts education programs concerning animals and animal welfare issues.
