Eligibility

Serves residents of Carroll County and:

Must have income within WIC income guidelines.
Must be in third trimester of pregnancy or have a child who is within the age/weight/height requirements for a car seat and who is in need of a convertible car seat or booster seat.
Must take the Car Seat Basics online class.
Vehicle must be present at the time of the class to assist with installation.

Conducts inspections which offer guidance regarding child passenger safety seats and the law, choosing a car seat that is appropriate for a particular child's height and weight, correct car seat installation and restraining a child in a car seat. Also offers The Car Seat Basics online class to any interested individual.
