Learning Disabilities Assessment And Treatment - Adults | Ld Edge Network
Provides a program to assess learning disabilities in adults and to create and implement a plan to deal effectively with a learning disability and to overcome barriers to success in achieving life goals. Services include diagnosis by a learning disabilities professional, workshops to address the results of the diagnosis, help getting accommodation in test settings if indicated, tutoring, a career interest/skills test for those needing direction towards a career, and help planning and setting goals to improve an individual's ability to learn.

Application process
Call M-F: 9:00am-5:00pm to make an appointment for an assessment, which is the first step. Those who did not have an Individual Education Plan (IEP) while in school can get a pre-assessment to see if a learning disability is likely present. Following the assessment, staff will set an appointment to evaluate the results of the assessment and make a plan.
Fee
Fixed fee, but sliding scale for individuals may be available, based on income.
Eligibility
Residents of Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Summit, Stark, and Portage Counties. Ages 18 and over. Program is also available to employers and non-profit organizations.
