Accepts requests for appeals of certain decisions about health care payment, coverage of items and services, or drug coverage from individuals enrolled in Medicare. Also provides linkage to Beneficiary and Family Centered Care-Quality Improvement Organizations (BFCC-QIOs) for individuals enrolled in Medicare who wish to file a complaint about the quality of care they received from a healthcare facility or professional.
