7 pm-7 am when National Weather Service predicts temperatures to be at 20 degrees or lower overnight (includes wind chill). Sign in between 7 pm-9 pm, with lights out at 10 pm. No entry afterwards, unless escorted by law enforcement.

Application process

2025-2026 Winter Season Site: First United Methodist Church. 12 N Diamond St, Mansfield. Enter side door facing Park Ave E, beside the Tyger Free Little Library box. Can leave at any time, but will not be readmitted.

Provides an overnight warming shelter. Women and children sleep separately from men. No alcohol, drugs, or weapons. Service dependent on volunteer availability. Smoking only permitted in courtyard area until 11 pm.
