Accepts and, where possible, attempts to resolve complaints regarding organizations that provide health care services, including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living communities, outpatient clinics, hospices, home health agencies, etc. Complaints may be made regarding a health care facility's licensing, cleanliness and safety, treatment of patients, quality of care, unethical, improper or unprofessional conduct of personnel, or other inappropriate business practices.
