Conservation Education-public Involvement And Public Education | Cuyahoga Soil And Water Conservation District
Offers a variety of formal and informal education for students, teachers and targeted publics throughout the year. Programs and materials are typically focused on an annual theme, but mostly related to water quality and habitat. The agency also has portable displays and tools. Topics include but are not limited to soil and water conservation, watersheds, water quality, and wildlife. Workshops provide educators with the resources and know-how to teach children about environmental issues. May provide graduate credits to participants, as well as Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) for attending workshops. Schools within the NEORSD Service Area can utilize services to obtain storm water utility credits.
