- Serves Carroll County households with at least one child under the age of 18 (or through 19 if the child is still in high school), pregnant women (from conception to delivery), and (in certain cases) the non-custodial father or mother. - Family income must be at or below at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. - At least one member of the family must be a United States citizen or qualified alien. - Limit of one payment in a 12 month period.
Will be requested as needed and include: - Previous 30 days of earned and unearned (SSI, Child Support, and so forth) for all adults in household. - Photo ID. - Will need notarized statement from landlord stating amount of past due and current rent due, if applicable.

Description

Provides assistance with rent or mortgage payments for individuals and families in threat of eviction or foreclosure. Also provides assistance with paying property taxes and homeowner's insurance. Maximum payment in a 12 month period is $1,500 (which counts against an overall $1,500 cap on all PRC services in a 12 month period).
