Assistance available includes: - Auto Insurance - Liability up to four (4) months coverage. - Emergency Home Repairs - Not basic upkeep or maintenance. - Car Repair - Not regular maintenance. - Mortgage Payments - Up to four (4) months past due. - Driver's Education Classes. - Rent - Up to four (4) months past due OR Security Deposit plus first month's rent. - Employment Related Expenses. - Utilities - Up to four (4) months past due more than 30 days. - GED Incentive. - Emergency Hot Water Tank Repairs or Replacement. - Emergency Furnance Repairs or Replacement. - Emergency HVAC Repairs. - School Fees. - Pest Removal Services. - Property Taxes - ½ year delinquent or longer.

Eligibility

Serves Lorain County households at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level that meet one of the following criteria: - Have a minor child who resides with a parent, specified relative, legal guardian or legal custodian. - Have a pregnant individual with no other children in the home. - Have a non-custodial parent who resides in Lorain County but does not reside with their minor child(ren). NOTE: Applicant must be able to demonstrate that a specific change in circumstance occurred within the 12 months prior to the application for PRC benefits or services that has contributed to the current, demonstrated need. The change must be an unexpected, life-altering event which may include but is not limited to such things as loss or decrease in household income, domestic violence, divorce, natural disaster or fire, individual providing monetary support is no longer in the home.
