Eating Disorder Recovery Mentoring Program | National Association Of Anorexia Nervosa And Associated Disorders

Offers free peer support to anyone motivated to recover from an eating disorder. Mentees receive weekly one-on-one support online for a period of six months from a mentor that has recovered from an eating disorder.

Notes: Mentorships last 6 months. During that period, mentors and mentees will arrange to meet for at least 1 hour of peer support every week via video conferencing.

Eligibility

Potential mentees must be: -16 years of age or older. Parental consent is required if under age 18 -in outpatient care and able to get agreement from their therapist that they are a good fit for the mentorship program -not in an IOP program, residential treatment, partial-hospitalization, or other inpatient care at time of the mentorship program
