Eligibility

Open to residents of Kenton County and individuals who have fled to Kenton County for their safety.

Individuals seeking an Emergency Protective Order (EPO)-Domestic Violence (DV) must:

  • have a domestic relationship with the person from whom they are seeking protection
  • be in immediate and present danger of domestic violence and abuse, which includes physical injury, sexual abuse, stalking, and/or assault

Individuals seeking an Interpersonal Protective Order (IPO)-Dating Violence must:

  • have a dating relationship with the person from whom they are seeking protection
  • be in immediate and present danger of dating violence and abuse, which includes physical injury, sexual abuse, stalking, and/or assault

Individuals seeking an Interpersonal Protective Order (IPO)-Stalking/Sexual Assault must:

  • have been the victim of either sexual assault or stalking by the person from whom they are seeking protection
