- A copy of last year's tax return. - For married couples filing jointly, both spouses must be present. - Current photo ID. - Social Security Cards/identification or ITIN documents. - Birth dates for you,spouse and/or dependents. - Income documents - all forms W2,1098 and 1099 and self-employment income along with any other income. - Brokerage statements. - information for other income received. - Healthcare - 1095 A,B, or C. - Proof of savings or checking account and routing numbers for direct deposit - No paper refund checks. - Receipts for all deductions/credits. - Records of federal and state taxes paid. - Educational expenses - Form 1098- T and expense receipts. - Energy Credit Claim - Qualified Tips for Deduction. - Qualified Overtime Deduction. - Vehicle Interest Deduction.
