Provides a recycling center for household electronics such as: computers, cell phones, stereos, radios, telephones, televisions, VCRs, DVD players and other electronic items. Materials will be recycled or disposed of appropriately. Electronic items may contain hazardous materials that should not go into a landfill.

Charged with the following responsibilities: Reduce the amount of trash going to landfills from Richland County, increase the amount of recycling taking place within the county, meet all post-closure requirements of the Ohio and US EPAs at the closed Richland County Landfill, meet all the Ohio EPA requirements dealing with reporting for the county in the area of solid waste and litter control for the county. Offers year round collection of electronics, appliances and household recyclables at the National Parkway facility also the following programs: SCRAP recycling trailer, tire recycling, environmental education in the county, litter control within the county, Yard Waste Composting Facility, promotion of buying recycled, and other programs dealing with solid waste within the county.
