Assistance For Older Adults / Disabilities | Northern Ohio Assisting Hands

Eligibility

Serves older adults age 55 and older and those with physical disabilities age 18 or older who are unable to perform repairs or other large tasks themselves and who do not have anyone else who could provide the help. Availability of help may depend on the agency's schedule and demand.

Provides supervised work crews of volunteer youth to help persons in need with construction and other projects such as: wheelchair ramps, roofing, porch/step repair, clearing downed trees, etc.
