Application process

Potential clients must fill out a "Request for Assistance" located on the website www.ocvjc.org. Select the "Get Help" tab. If potential clients do not have web access please call 614-848-8500 to request a "Request for Assistance" via fax or mail.

Provides the following services:
  • Free legal assistance to crime victims, including direct representation in the criminal justice system to protect and enforce crime victims' rights;
  • Direct assistance and representation of victims on issues involving Crime Victims Compensation.
  • Informational and technical assistance to attorneys, advocates, other allied professionals, and legislators on crime victims' rights laws;
  • Free victims rights training to SANE, counselors, social workers, advocates, law enforcement, prosecutors, judges, and community organizations.
CLE's and CEU's are provided.
