Community Medical Services is a CARF-accredited substance use disorder treatment program, outpatient medication-assisted treatment via medication, counseling, and community-based services. REsearch shows that medication-assisted treatment or (or MAT) is the gold standard for treating opiod use disorder. CMS offers FDS-approved medications including methadone, buprenorphine (suboxone/Subutex/Sublocade) and naltrexone (Vivitrol)
