Health/disability Related Social Clubs | Ladd

Provides opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities to meet and socialize with others through community-based outings. Participants travel with a LADD guide in groups of 3-5 to attend events, volunteer, and engage in other recreational activities.

Application process

<p>Submit <a href="https://laddinc.org/intake/" target="_blank" rel="noopener" class="underline text-blue-700">online form</a> or contact by phone to schedule an intake appointment. Individuals with a Service and Support Administrator (SSA) through Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services should be referred to LADD through their SSA.</p>

<p>Vary by service provided. Self-pay and some Medicaid waivers accepted.</p>

Eligibility

<p>Open to individuals age 18 or older with a developmental disability, defined in federal and state law as a severe and chronic disability attributable to a mental or physical impairment (other than mental illness) that:</p> <ul> <li>manifested before age 22</li> <li>is likely to continue indefinitely</li> <li>results in substantial functional limitation in major life activities</li> </ul>
