Youth Enrichment Programs | Girls On The Run East Central Ohio

Offers a character building program of experiential learning through running. Teaches self-esteem as well as social and personal skills. Provides a non-competitive 5K event. Trained volunteer coaches lead small teams through a research-based curricula, which includes dynamic discussions, activities and running games to encourage positive emotional, spiritual, social, mental and physical development.

Fee

- Maximum registration fee is $170. - Payment plans and financial assistance are available based on a sliding income scale. - Scholarships are provided to all girls. No girl is turned away due to financial reasons. Registration fee includes: - Lessons conducted by certified GOTR® coaches. - Entry into the GOTR 5k. - Healthy snacks. - Water bottle. - Official GOTR t-shirt. - GOTR Finisher medal.

Eligibility

- Girls on the Run: Serves girls in grades 3rd through 5th residing in Stark, Carroll, Tuscarawas and Wayne counties. - Heart and Sole: Serves girls in grades 6th through 8th residing in Stark, Carroll, Tuscarawas and Wayne counties.
