UPWARD BOUND | NORTHERN KENTUCKY UNIVERSITY

Offers a college preparation program for high school students who are economically disadvantaged and/or are prospective first-generation college students. Participants receive academic instruction, tutoring, mentoring, academic, financial, or personal counseling, assistance preparing for college entrance exams, and assistance completing financial aid applications.

Eligibility

Open to students in 9th or 10th grade who attend Lloyd High School, Simon Kenton High School, or Newport High School. Students must be from families in which neither parent holds a bachelor's degree, or have a household income at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level to participate.
