Operation Homefront Transitional Housing | Operation Homefront

Provides transitional housing with support services for Veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan recently honorably discharged from the service and their families who are currently homeless after having to vacate base housing. Offers support services including case management with an Operation Homefront counselor, support groups, workshops, benefits briefings, and resume writing classes. Property amenities include fully furnished, paid utilities, internet access, cable TV, and telephone service.

Eligibility

- Serves honorably discharged Veterans with four (4) years of discharge from the service and their families. NOTE: There is no transitional housing currently available in Ohio. Applicants must be willing to move. - Must not be eligible for retirement pay. - Must be waiting for their Veteran Administration (VA) compensation to begin.
