Eligibility

Most classes: adults 50 and older. Targeted to Strongsville residents. Wood shop and Woodcarving is available for adults 21 and older. Yoga held in the evening: 18 and older. Bingo is for those 60 and older.

Varies with activity. Senior Center hours are M-Th: 8:00am-9:00pm, F: 8:00am-5:00pm.

Phone or walk-in for information or to register for a class/activity M-Th: 8:30am-8:00pm, F: 8:30am-5:00pm. Some classes require payment in person before class starts.

Description

Offers a wide variety of recreational activities for seniors including but not limited to, exercise classes, yoga, crafts, dominos, scrabble, Mah Jongg, walking, bowling, chess, bingo, line dancing, ballroom dancing, bocce, walking, writing/grammar instruction, tai chi, line dancing, woodshop, oil painting, book groups, choral sing-a-long, outings and trips, computer classes covering computer basics, e-mail, internet, Word and Excel. Also offers classes to all adults in woodworking, painting, and other arts and crafts.
