PSYCHIATRIC EVALUATIONS - OFFENDERS | CUYAHOGA COUNTY COMMON PLEAS COURT - GENERAL DIVISION
Provides psychiatric evaluations of individuals accused of felony offenses for the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court. Pretrial evaluations are conducted to determine the individual's competency to stand trial and sanity at the time of the alleged offense. Following conviction or the entry of a guilty plea, examiners perform mitigation reports to determine assignment to various probation programs. Evaluations are also completed to help determine whether an individual who has been convicted of a sexually oriented crime should be labeled a sexual predator. Does not provide psychiatric evaluations as a condition of probation.
