Provide services to help people with visual impairments gain or retain employment. Services could include evaluation, vocational counseling and guidance, providing adaptive equipment, training in the use of assistive technology (ex:JAWS) and orientation and mobility (helping people get around), treatment and job placement assistance.

Anyone can refer to OOD (Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities) via in writing, walk-in or telephone. On-line referrals/applications available through our website at OOD.Ohio.gov

None, but consumer asked to contribute to plan to extent he/she is able.
Eligibility
Persons with visually impairment which causes a substantial impediment to employment and who require and can benefit from vocational rehabilitation services to become employed.
