Referral by agency is preferred, although individuals may self-refer if they meet eligibility. Referrals are made each time a client requests service. The referral may be made by phone or fax 24hrs a day, 7 days a week. If phone is not answered, callers may leave a message that will be returned by staff. Referrals are accepted from any social service agency (including county workers, neighborhood centers, direct service agencies, and shelters), treatment centers, hospitals, churches. Self-referrals must agree to be linked with services to address the family's crisis during the placement of their children. There may be a waiting list for this service.

Offers non-custodial, residential care in a trauma-informed environment for eligible children. Provides shelter, food, clothing, beds, medical exams, developmental screening, and an educational curriculum. Service includes case management and parent support programming, as well as trauma screening and assessment for children and guardians.
