Home Weatherization Assistance Program (hwap) | Jefferson County Community Action Council

Make the homes of income eligible participants more energy efficient. Insulates attics, blows cellulose into side walls, caulks windows and doors, and takes any other practical measures to minimize or stop cold air infiltration. Furnaces are checked and repaired or replaced under this program, as well.

- Serves residents of Jefferson County. - Eligibility is determined by ranking on a point system, and can be awarded to either home owners or tenants. Priority is extended to low-income, elderly, and citizens with disabilities.
