The Public Assistance Unit offers help with day-to-day needs such as food, medical and childcare. The Child Support Enforcement Agency helps with establishing paternity, enforcement and collection of child support payments. The Public Children Services Agency oversees the protection of children and elderly, as well as foster and adoptive placements in the county. Workforce Development provides services to veterans, job seekers and employers.
