Kentucky Transitional Assistance Program | Kentucky Department For Community Based Services - Northern Bluegrass Region
Provides temporary cash assistance for families with or expecting children. Also offers job preparation, work opportunities, and access to supportive services such as child care and transportation through the Kentucky Works program to eligible participants. Families who apply for KTAP will also be screened for the Family Assistance Short Term (FAST) program.

Applicants must: -be a resident of Kentucky and a US citizen or qualified immigrant -have no or low income -be unemployed or underemployed -be a parent or relative caretaker responsible for children up to age 18
