Provides inspectors who enforce residential and commercial building codes by investigating complaints, issuing citations, and establishing processes with property owners for correction of violations. Schedules and provides property inspections that are required when a home owner sells property in the city limits. Service includes reporting high weeds and brush on private property. Also conducts systematic exterior inspections of all residential properties, including rental units, in the city with time-lines for property owners to complete necessary repairs.
