Providing safety kits to older adults in Akron. Kits will be in a laundry basket and include: - Fire safe with lock. - Fire extinguisher. - Carbon Monoxide (CO) detector. - Home tool kit. - EMS magnet for refrigerator. - Home first aid kit. - Rechargeable flashlight. - Two (2) driveway reflectors. - Educational information about home childproofing from Akron Children's Hospital, Akron Fire Department's smoke detector program, and United Way's 211 cards.
