Housing - Individuals With Developmental Disabilities | North Coast Community Homes

Develops and maintains homes for people with developmental disabilities (MR/DD). Meets with individuals to determine their needs and finds an appropriate home for them. North Coast Community Homes then purchases the home, makes any necessary renovations, and manages the property. Generally, four people with developmental disabilities live in one home.

Application process

A referral must be made by the Board of Developmental Disabilities in which the individual resides (Cuyahoga, Lake, or Stark only). May phone for information M-F: 8:00am-5:00pm. In Summit County referrals through ADAMHS Board.

Fee

Rent is on a Sliding scale; often paid through a funding source such as the County Board of Developmental Disabilities or Section 8.

Eligibility

Adults 18 or older with developmental disabilities in Cuyahoga, Erie, Ottawa, Lake, Summit, and Stark Counties.
