ABSENTEE BALLOT DISTRIBUTION | ASHTABULA COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS

Any registered Ohio voter may vote by absentee ballot if they so desire. Absentee ballots may be requested after January 1st prior to an upcoming election, although a voter can request them up to 3 days prior. You can also obtain ballots through our website or requested over the phone.

Application process

Absentee applications may be requested by phone or on the website at https://www.boe.ohio.gov/ashtabula/absentee-information/. All pertinent information must be filled in, signed and dated for the application to be processed. In office voting typically begins 30 day prior but may change per directive of The Secretary of State's Office.
