Eligibility

Homeowners within Montgomery County, Ohio. They must be 60 or older, and low- to moderate-income. The property taxes on the home must be current or you must have an active payment plan (with payments having been made in the past year) with the Montgomery County Treasurer's Office. If there is more than one resident living in the home, the applicant must be 60 or older.

Required documents

Homeowner Application filled out completed with signature and date. Proof of income documentation is required for EACH resident in the home. These documents can be retirement/annuity benefit letters, pension letters, Veterans Affairs benefit letters, income paystubs (must be at least 4 consecutive pay stubs), Social Security, Supplemental Security Income, or Social Security Disability Insurance benefit letters. We do NOT accept bank statements as proof of income documentation. We do not require SNAP documentation as it is not considered income under our program.

Fees

Rebuilding Together Dayton does not charge any fee, at any time, for our services. At this time, there are no programs requiring co-pays or forgivable loans/liens.
