Provides same-day medical attention for adults and children with acute medical problems which are not life-threatening and do not require an emergency room visit. Examples of problems which can be seen would be acute sore throat, ear or sinus infections, minor cuts and bumps, cold and flu symptoms, sprains and strains, or skin rashes. Would not see broken bones, major burns or trauma, or acute psychiatric problems.
