Description
Provides a workshop that covers the full range of adoption options for prospective families, including public adoption from foster care, private adoption, and international adoption. Following the workshop content participants from a panel of each of three adoption options (public, private, and international) to learn more about their experiences. Information and resources offered during the workshop help families decide about the best route for their adoption journey. Provides a second workshop for those who decide to pursue a private adoption. Second workshop goes into more detail about the specific process for a private infant adoption, including how to select an agency, an overview of creating a profile for a birth parent to learn about the potential parents, details of a home study, and a discussion about openness in the adoption. also offers a workshop about adopting from foster care.
