E3- Educate, Empower, Elevate | New Directions Career Center
12-week long program that prepares women to pursue post-secondary education and secure employment with a livable wage. This program is designed to help low-to moderate income working women in central Ohio become “educated, empowered and elevated” to a new level of financial stability for themselves and their families. Partner agencies work together to present a comprehensive curriculum and support services to help women succeed. College preparation program with instruction includes personal enrichment topics, financial literacy, educational readiness, career development, and college preparatory math and English. Supportive Services are provided during the preparation program and after completion. Supportive Services include: mentorship from the Women's Leadership Council, case management/career counseling, employment services, financial counseling, monthly support groups, an incentive program, and opportunities for networking and continued support.

Eligibility
Women 18 years and older. Must have a high school diploma or a GED and test at a 9th grade reading and math level. E³ (Educate, Empower, Elevate) is designed for women who are ready to increase their financial independence through education and training. The 12-week course explores the following: Education & Training Preparation, Career Assessments & Planning, Personal Enrichment & Wellness, and Financial Planning. Classes are facilitated by NDCC staff and community partners in a kind, supportive in-person and virtual learning experience.
