Richland County residents.
Required documents
Storm Water and Erosion Control Permit:
- Need a township zoning permit if activity is in zoned township or an exemption letter from that township.
- If project is residential building may need approved septic inspection and permit.
- For a re-build on an existing foundation/slab, must contact Building Codes and Permits for an inspection before a stormwater permit can be issued.

Permit Room: Mon, Wed, Thu 8 am-noon. Permits can also be obtained outside of those times if scheduled with a Technician.
