Fee

- No fee to apply. - Rental cost to participant is 30 to 40% of monthly family income, with subsidy making up the difference between this and the market rent of unit. There is an upper limit on the unit rental price that is acceptable.

Eligibility

- Serves Tuscarawas County residents age 18 and over who meet income eligibility guidelines. - Applicants must also pass other eligibility criteria and are screened for recent violent or drug related criminal activity. - Must be an adult United States citizen or eligible immigrant, and have the legal capacity to enter into a lease under state and local law. Preference is given to Veterans. The Very Low Income (HCVP - Section 8) Eligibility Guidelines (updated April 1st, 2024): - Family of 1 = $28,000. - Family of 2 = $32,000. - Family of 3 = $36,000. - Family of 4 = $40,000. - Family of 5 = $43,200. - Family of 6 = $46,400. - Family of 7 = $49,600. - Family of 8 = $52,800.
