POLICE - EDUCATION AND PREVENTION ACTIVITIES | EUCLID CITY OF -
Provides a variety of services directed to educating the public about crime prevention. Community policing program includes activities for children such as sports, hobbies, and outings. Crime Prevention Officer is available to speak to interested groups. Encourages and assists neighborhoods to organize neighborhood associations, which meet to learn how to discourage preventable crime in their areas. Also has a program of stickers installed by the police which alert patrols to cars being driven at unusual hours which may have been stolen. Offers vacation security checks of homes for residents who are out of town. Sponsors a bike rodeo each year where children have bike safety tests, can ride a bike course, are fitted for helmets, etc.
