Eligibility

Serves adults ages 18 or older of any gender expression who wish to be served in a single men's facility and who are homeless or who expect to be sleeping in a place that is either unsafe or unfit for human habitation. People staying at the shelter need to be able to care for themselves, including taking their medications. Certain disabilities can be accommodated. Those who present as sex offenders are eligible for shelter through this agency.

Application process

Clients should first contact Coordinated Intake (if it is open). If Coordinated Intake is closed, the client may walk in for service (however, they will need to go through Coordinated Intake as soon as they are open). Information on Coordinated Intake (including the hours they are open) can be found using the search term: EMERGENCY SHELTER CLEARINGHOUSES*SINGLE ADULTS. NOTE: Will not accept walk-ins if they are being discharged directly from a hospital (those individuals should call Coordinated Intake).

Provides emergency overnight shelter to eligible individuals. Also serves as a homeless shelter as part of Cuyahoga County's Coordinated Intake program for individuals with specific barriers that may keep them from establishing and keeping stable housing.
