Eligibility
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
- Have a household income that is at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines
- Receive, or have a child/dependent who receives benefits from Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Medicaid, Federal Public Housing Assistance, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), or the Veterans and Survivors Pension Benefit.
Note: Lifeline benefits are limited to one per household.

Application process
- Application required. Applications may be submitted Online
- Within 90 days of qualifying, applicants must choose a local internet company that is a participating provider and sign up for service with them, or request their current internet company apply the Lifeline benefit to the service the household is already receiving.
