Performs assessments and counseling in order to minimize oppositional defiant and disruptive behavior of clients that affect their daily functioning. Goals aim to reduce or prevent involvement with the criminal and juvenile justice systems and psychiatric hospitalization. Minimizes the amount of time spent in out-of-home placement and disruptions in school. Assist clients in the stabilization of their mental diagnoses.
