Eligibility
  • Serves income qualified residents in Lorain County, except for residents of the cities of Elyria, Lorain, or Vermilion.
  • Applicant(s) name must be on the deed.
  • Home was built before 1978.
  • Applicant(s) must be current on all mortgage and tax payments.
  • Applicant(s) must provide evidence of house insurance.
  • Cannot be on Land Contract or a Life Estate.
  • Total household income must be at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (updated April 1st, 2024):
  • Family of 1 = $54,450.
  • Family of 2 = $62,200.
  • Family of 3 = $70,000.
  • Family of 4 = $77,750.
  • Family of 5 = $84,000.
  • Family of 6 = $90,200.
  • Family of 7 = $96,450.
  • Family of 8 = $102,650.
