Smoke detectors are free upon first request. Once those detectors need replacing, the homeowner is responsible for procuring new devices, but installation services remain free of charge.

Description
Provides and installs free smoke alarms for residents of Cuyahoga Falls. If a smoke alarm is going off for no apparent reason, the fire department will assist with checking alarms and replacing batteries. Note: The department will not replace outdated hard-wired/interconnected smoke alarms with "battery only" alarms.
