Vision Care Outreach - Vco | Prevent Blindness - Ohio Affiliate

The Prevent Blindness Vision Care Outreach (VCO) Program provides comprehensive vision care to uninsured and underinsured adults and children in Ohio. Services offered include vision care education, eye examinations, eyeglasses and financial resources for ophthalmological care. Additional services include adult vision training and adult vision screening programs, educational curricula and brochures, research, and advocacy for public health issues relating to vision and blindness.

Eligibility

1. Client must meet the current 200% Federal Poverty Guidelines; 2. Client is not enrolled in Medicaid such as CareSource, United Healthcare, Buckeye Community Health Plan, Molina Healthcare, Paramount Advantage, Ohio Medicaid or any other vision insurance such as private and in some instances Medicare that has vision benefits attached.
